Ship owners and managers can embark or disembark Officers, repair engineers/technicians, Superintendents and crew off Brixham - Brixham is approximately 24 hours passage to/from Rotterdam and approximately 40 hours passage to/from Hamburg.

This passage time can be used to allow handover time for senior officers and allow engineers to complete repairs.

Torbay provides a safe anchorage suitable for repairs etc., with good water visibility, ideal for inwater repairs and surveys in lieu of dry-docking.

Vessels are serviced either underway or at safe anchorage.
